English

Activity description

  • Children come into contact with this new language in a natural way, following the natural process of acquiring it.
  • In the afternoon workshops we aim for children to integrate English into playful and formative activities:
    • Storytelling
    • Making motor games and board games.
    • Memorization of rhymes, songs and performance of routines.
    • Carrying out craft activities
    • Popular celebrations typical of English-speaking countries such as: Halloween, Christmas, Easter…
  • This learning of the English language is carried out from various media (digital and materials) and proposals (TPR, role play, games, arts & crafts, sing & dance …).

Swimming

Activity description

Swimming allows the child to:

  • Through swimming, children achieve better motor, psychological and social development. Practicing swimming from an early age will help them improve their defenses as they will learn to breathe properly.
  • The benefits that swimming offers to children are:
    • Develop motor coordination
    • Improve the circulatory system.
    • Develop survival skills
    • Improve cardio-respiratory abilities.
    • Promote postural alignment and muscle condition.
    • Contribute to the development of independence and self-confidence.

Objectives:

  • Enter into the water with the help of the monitor and step by step do it alone.
  • Displacements with the help of auxiliary material (sleeves, bubbles, etc …) in dorsal and ventral position.
  • Sink your head.
  • Open your eyes in the water.

Objectives:

  • Entrance to the water alone.
  • Displacements with help in dorsal and ventral position.
  • Swim without help in a ventral position.
  • Changes in direction.
  • Aquatic turns.
  • Jump into the water.

Hours, price and place:

Tuesday departure from school at 15:30 and return at approximately 18:00 at school.
The price is €77.63/month (includes: swimming course + coach + school monitors)

Yoga

Activity description

Yoga allows the child to:

  • Practicing yoga from an early age is very positive, as it helps to harmonize and balance feeling, thinking and acting.
  • Sessions are dynamic and are practiced by playing. It’s a fun way to develop important skills in a positive, non-competitive environment..
  • Using imagination and creativity through storytelling and games, we will create yoga postures that encourage elasticity, flexibility and coordination. We will also learn to be aware of our breathing, which is the key to concentrating and relaxing.
